Bible Study
Father Murphy regularly gives scripture study classes both in the Spring and Fall months. Either call the office or watch the parish bulletin for time and place.

Centering Prayer
'Centering Prayar' is a contemporary name for contemplative prayer. It facilitates the movement from scripture reading with its conversation with Christ, visualization and reflection to resting in God. Centering prayer gradually deepens our relationship with God which was begun in Baptism. Regular prayer times are 20 minutes weekly following the 8 a.m. Tuesday Mass in Lyndora and the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in Meridian. Men's Prayer Group
The group meets Sunday evenings at the church for prayer, scripture study and basketball. For more information call: 724-282-4298.
Catholic Couples Groups
These groups meet in various homes within the faith community. Their aim is to promote strong marriages through a study of their Catholic faith. The monthly meetings start with the rosary, a study or teaching regarding marriage or child rearing and end with a meal. Benedictine Oblates
Benedictine Oblates is a lay order of men and women affiliated with the Benedictine Monastery at St. Vincent Archabbey in Latrobe. As members of the monastic family, Oblates share in the prayers for absent brethren at the conclusion of the Divine Office, in all the spiritual works of the monks and especially in the daily Mass offered for the community. Meetings will take place at St. Fidelis the third Tuesday of the month, starting Oct. 2006. Father Brian Boosel from St. Vincents will lead the meetings. All are welcome.
